Why ORPA exists
Small service businesses often run on capable people and disconnected tools: Gmail for customer requests, a calendar for appointments, notes for job details, a document template for quotes, and a separate payment system. The same information is copied repeatedly, and each handoff creates another place for details to disappear.
ORPA CLOUD is being built around one connected record. A customer request can become a job, an approved scope can become a quote, a confirmed job can appear on the calendar, and accepted work can become an invoice without silently sending messages or making commitments.
What we claim—and what we do not
ORPA CLOUD is an Alpha-stage product, not a finished enterprise platform. The site describes features that are implemented in the current application and labels important limits. Gmail access is read-only; customer-facing drafts, bookings, invoices, and payment actions remain subject to an authorized user’s review.
We do not claim an independent security certification, completed penetration test, guaranteed business result, or professional expertise we have not earned. The security page explains current controls and limitations in more detail.
Editorial standards for ORPA Field Notes
The resource library is written and reviewed by the ORPA CLOUD product team. Guides are based on the operational decisions the product is designed to support: intake, estimating, pricing, scheduling, documentation, invoicing, and payment follow-up. They are written to remain useful even when a reader does not use ORPA.
- Originality: We publish our own explanations, checklists, calculations, and examples rather than paraphrasing search results.
- Specificity: A guide should help a reader make or verify a real decision. We prefer concrete fields, examples, and stop conditions over vague advice.
- Transparency: Each guide shows its authoring organization, publication or update date, reading time, and relevant professional-advice limits.
- Review: Product and workflow claims are checked against the current application. Material updates receive a new reviewed date.
- Corrections: Material errors are corrected in place. Readers can report an error or unclear recommendation by email.
- Advertising: Ads may appear on free educational articles. Advertising does not determine topics, conclusions, examples, or product comparisons.
